Sarah Marcellus, M.A., CCC-SLP
Hello! My name is Sarah and I’m a licensed speech-language pathologist in both Connecticut and New York. I am ASHA certified and hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, complemented by a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I’ve had the opportunity to work with children in a variety of settings including schools, early learning centers, daycares, pediatric home care, and teletherapy. I am PROMPT trained and have experience in working with children with articulation/phonological delays, receptive and expressive language delays, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), oral motor disorders, and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). I love tailoring activities around each child’s unique interests and needs to increase learning and motivation.
I am a big believer in the phrase “laughter is the best medicine”, and I believe that same mantra applies to the therapy setting. Keeping my sessions fun, engaging and full of laughter is something I strive for every day.
I currently offer in-home and teletherapy speech and language services to the preschool and school-age populations. When I’m not providing direct therapy, I love getting crafty and creating simple, effective resources for SLPs and parents. My resources are available on this site’s resource page or on my TeachersPayTeachers or Boom Cards sites.
I am so grateful for all of the wonderful people I’ve met on my journey as a speech therapist and I am especially thankful for you being here and reading this today. Send me a message, I’d love to hear from you!
