Hey Everyone! Welcome to my site!

My name is Sarah, and yes, you guessed it, I am a speech-language pathologist. I work primarily with the pediatric population and have a particular interest in treating children with speech sound disorders. Being born and raised in New York, I received my BS in Elementary Education from SUNY New Paltz and my MA in Speech-Language Pathology from Lehman College.

I am a big believer in the phrase “laughter is the best medicine”, and I believe that same mantra applies to the therapy setting. One reason I love working with children so much is that I consider to be a bit of one myself. And keeping my sessions fun, engaging and full of laughter is something I strive for every day. Because let’s be real, all kids learn better when they’re having fun.

I currently work as an independent contract for two agencies serving both preschool and school-age populations. I also treat a handful of private clients via teletherapy (see my contact page for details). When I’m not providing direct therapy, I love getting crafty and creating simple, effective resources for SLPs and parents.

Other than working in this awesome field, I enjoy taking my two Shiba Inus on long walks, snuggling with my other three pets, putting BBQ sauce on (almost) everything, and watching scary movies. I also love planning events and trips for my friends and I, playing the guitar, roller coasters, and laughing until it hurts.

I am so grateful for all of the wonderful people I’ve met on my journey as a speech therapist and I am especially thankful for you being here and reading this today. Drop me a line, I’d love to hear from you!

“Laughter is a language everyone understands.”

Stay well,

Sarah
